Psalm 91
Under His Wings

Big Idea: God invites you to _______________ under His wings—not as a visitor but as a resident—finding peace, power, promise, and protection.

Under His Wings

1. We rest under the _________________________ of God’s peace.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1–2 NIV

  • God’s presence is our ____________________________ place.

2. We experience the ____________________ of God’s power.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. Psalm 91:4-6 NIV

  • God’s power __________________________ us in every season.

3. We look to the __________________________ of God’s promise.

If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge— then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. Psalm 91:9-10 NIV

  • God’s promises don’t exempt us from trials; they ___________________ us through them.

4. We live in the __________________________ of God’s protection.

“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16 NIV

  • God’s protection is sure because His _____________ is sure.

Life Application Challenge:

• Read Psalm 91 aloud daily.
• Pray this prayer daily: “Lord, teach me to dwell, not just visit.”
• Identify one area of fear or worry—and surrender it fully to His protection.

The Bottom Line:
You are safest not when you’re in control, but when you’re __________________________ to the God who is.
