Violet Baptist Church is a Bible-rooted, gospel-centered congregation located in Pickerington, Ohio. As a Southern Baptist church, we are committed to loving God, loving others, and making disciples of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to connect real life with the timeless truth of Scripture in a way that is meaningful, accessible, and transformational for every generation.

For more than six decades, Violet Baptist Church has faithfully served Pickerington and the Violet Township area. Throughout our history, we have remained committed to biblical teaching and gospel impact while adapting to meet the needs of a growing and changing community. God has blessed our church through seasons of ministry growth among children, youth, and adults, as well as through meaningful partnerships with local schools and community organizations.

Pickerington is a fast-growing, family-oriented Columbus suburb with strong schools, rising diversity, and steady population growth. The area leans middle-to-upper-middle income, highly commuter-based, and packed with young families – making it one of the strongest ministry-growth environments in central Ohio.
