“Church in the Park”
What an incredible morning of worship, baptisms, and fellowship as approximately 500 people attended the Violet Baptist “Church in the Park” on Sunday, August 3, at Victory Park in Old Pickerington. We celebrated together the baptism and commitment of 18 individuals; children, youth, and adults. The weather was gorgeous and our time together was memorable. Join us for regular worship service times of 9:30 and 11:00 AM resuming at Violet Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 10th.
Women’s Self Defense Class: FREE
September 6th, 2014 1pm to 5pm presented by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office in coordination with Violet Baptist Church. This is a Basic Women’s Self-Defense Course: a course teaching women how to use their strengths against an assailant’s mental and physical weaknesses, solve personal safety concerns related to fear of being attack, street crimes, dating and domestic violence.
