MEN'S SPRING COOKOUT: May 19

The Men's Spring Cookout will be a healthy mix of good food, fellowship, ministry and encouraging teaching. Men, invite your male neighbors, coworkers, and family members to come along with you on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Violet. Steve Hopkins, guest speaker, will present "Whitewater! Navigating the Rapids of Transition." Cost: Recommended donation of $4 each. Our ministry feature is a Garage Giveaway for Outreach for Youth.

ONE TO ONE LADIES MENTORING: New Season

The mission of the "One to One Women's Mentorship Ministry" is to give women the opportunity to experience joy and growth in their Christian lives by participating in one-on-one supporting and encouraging mentoring friendships. A mentor is a woman who is a practicing Christian, who regularly attends Violet, and has the desire to let her life be an example and Godly role model. A mentee is a Violet woman who is young in her walk with the Lord or who desire to grow spiritually. The mentor/mentee pair will use the Bible, study guides and prayer partners as resources to foster their time together.
